“Tengo los mismos bienes familiares adquiridos cuando estaba en la universidad, hace más de 25 años y declarado hace más de 10 años. No hay cambio ni modificación alguna. Todo está en orden”, dijo Mario Reyna Rodríguez al conocer que el alcalde Arturo Fernández, presentó un oficio al Jurado Nacional de Elecciones pidiendo lo excluyan como regidor de la Municipalidad de Trujillo.
“Creo que ahora, después de todo lo que ha pasado, debe calmarse y asumir las consecuencias de sus actos por manchar horas ajenas”, enfatizó.
Como se sabe, Fernández recibió sentencia del Poder Judicial en segunda instancia, con Resolución N° 30 de la Segunda Sala de Apelaciones de la Corte Superior de Justicia de La Libertad, en la que se resuelve confirmar la sentencia del 23 de agosto de 2022 -Resolución N° 13 del Quinto Juzgado Penal Unipersonal de Trujillo-, donde se le señala como autor del delito de difamación agravada en agravio de Nataly Rojas Rojas y se le impone un año de pena privativa de la libertad (suspendida en su ejecución); y se revoca el quantum de la reparación civil, reformándola a la suma de S/. 25,000.00 en favor de la agraviada.
Reyna rompió su silencio de muchos días señalando que lo hecho por Fernández es un ardid para tratar de perjudicarlo. “Eso no me preocupa en lo más mínimo. Eso sí, me llama la atención que esto lo haya planificado maliciosamente días antes, al adelantar que iba a impedir por todos los medios que asuma algún cargo”, recordó.
Fernández expone en su solicitud al JNE que Reyna habría hecho, presuntamente, una declaración jurada de rentas falsa; ya que en el año 2022, cuando se encontraba como candidato, postulando al cargo de regidor provincial de Trujillo, habría declarado S/ 12,000.00 en bienes; y en el año 2023, como regidor de la MPT, S/ 10,036,070.00.
Al respecto, Reyna precisó que eso es una calumnia y que presentó dos documentos distintos para hacer creer que hay una divergencia, lo que no es correcto. “Él muestra una declaración de hoja de vida, que yo no presenté, sino que lo hizo el partido por el que participé, razón por la cual pudo haber alguna omisión al subir esa información”, indicó.
Lo que si presenté son declaraciones a la Contraloría: Una el año 2010, cuando estuve en Sedalib. Allí consigné esos dos bienes; y este año, como regidor de la MPT, 13 años después, subo los mismos dos bienes o inmuebles, que incrementaron su valor, explicó.
Las declaraciones a la Contraloría son iguales. Donde aparentemente hay un error u omisión es en la que sube el partido, por eso es que hay una diferencia de la que se quiere aprovechar, pero ese documento no lo presenté yo ni está firmado por mí, agregó.
“Esto parece ser parte de un complot para intentar desprestigiarme”, reiteró. Para aclarar este tema mostró copias de las dos declaraciones juradas que presentó sobre ingresos y bienes ante la Contraloría General de la República.
Recalcó seguidamente que los bienes en mención so propiedad familiar e incrementaron su valor porque por uno de los predios, de 20 000 m2, ahora pasa la carretera costanera y el valor del precio por m2 aumentó para todos los vecinos de la zona.
Uno de los dos predios que declara fue adquirido hace aproximadamente 25 años, cuando estaba estudiando en la universidad, y el otro hace más de 12 años. El aumento del valor de los bienes es debido al paso de más de dos décadas en uno y una década en el otro. Todo consta en escrituras públicas y está inscrito en Registros Públicos.
“Ninguno fue adquirido cuando estaba en la función pública. Los inmuebles son patrimonio familiar y no de mi entera propiedad. Lo que hace Fernández es una denuncia calumniosa con el ánimo de desprestigiarme”, manifestó finalmente.
